 Created in 2005 with our consumer’s in mind, UHS strives to Uplift Lives Through Compassionate Care.  We provide both Healthcare Services through our home healthcare and day habilitation programs, as well as Educational Training to those interested in becoming a part of the healthcare field.  Services and Trainings are tailored to meet each individual’s needs and/or goals and are provided to the Franklin, Fairfield, Licking, and Delaware County areas.

Our Home Healthcare and Adult Day Services include, but are not limited to:   ·       

  •   Personal care service:  assistance provided for physical care and daily living activities
  • Homemaker service:  care of the client and the home
  • Transportation service:  non-medical for errands, recreation activities, shopping etc.
  • Vocation Habilitation Service:  assisting clients in exploring, obtaining and maintaining their vocational interests and passion.
  • Youth Companionship and Mentoring:  engage youth in community activities with the purpose of addressing daily living, social, and communication needs
  • Adult Day Service:  fun, engaging and therapeutic day programming that promote principles of self-determination and choices. (located at 8630 Refugee Rd.  Pickerington, Oh 43147)

Our Educational Training Opportunities include:

Nurse Assistant Training Course:  Basic nursing care training for patients in various healthcare settings. The 76-hour course includes 60 hours of classroom/lab instruction and 16 hours of clinical preparation, which meets the requirement for nurse assistant training in Ohio. The course follows state and federal guidelines and is approved by the Ohio Department of Health

Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR):  This course is based on the combined guidelines and standards set forth by the American Hearth Association (AHA) in Basic Life Support, Heartsaver and Pediatric CPR.

First Aid:  This course will cover responses for medical emergencies and the safety of the responder. 

Medication Administration:  Certification I in administering medication and health related activities. MUI Training, Universal Precaution/Infection Control/ Blood Borne Pathogen Training, and DD Provider Training available as well for both individuals and employees of other healthcare agencies.
